SEPAT Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Booking Terms and Conditions

 

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the booking of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services (“Services”) provided by SEPAT (“Company”) to the customer (“Customer”). By booking our Services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms

  1. Booking Confirmation:
  • Booking of PAT testing services is subject to availability and confirmation by the Company.
  • The Company reserves the right to decline or reschedule bookings based on availability and other relevant factors.
  1. Appointment Details:
  • The Customer agrees to provide accurate information for scheduling appointments, including the date, time, and location for the testing.
  • Any changes to the appointment details must be communicated to the Company at least 24 hours in advance.
  1. Access and Preparation:
  • The Customer shall ensure that all portable appliances to be tested are accessible and ready for inspection at the scheduled time.
  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide a safe working environment for the Company’s engineers during the testing process.
  1. Payment Terms:
  • The Customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon fee for the Services rendered by the Company.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the testing, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Any additional charges incurred due to extra services requested by the Customer will be communicated and agreed upon before commencement of the testing.
  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
  • The Customer may cancel or reschedule an appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice to the Company.
  • Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee, as determined by the Company.
  1. Liability:
  • The Company shall not be liable for any damage to appliances arising during the testing process, unless such damage results from the negligence or willful misconduct of the Company’s engineers.
  • The Customer acknowledges that the testing does not guarantee the safety or functionality of the appliances beyond the time of testing.
  1. Confidentiality:
  • The Company and its engineers shall treat all information obtained during the provision of Services as confidential, and shall not disclose such information to third parties without the Customer’s consent, except as required by law.
  1. Governing Law:
  • These Terms are in compliance with UK laws.
  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the courts of UK Laws.
  1. Amendments:
  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, and any such amendments shall be effective upon posting on the Company’s website or other relevant communication channels.

By booking our services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
