Dangerous appliances
Most days we come across potentially dangerous appliances, we decided it was best to post some of these to give you a better understanding of how dangerous some of your appliances could be. Knowing what you are looking for will allow you to find potential faults and eradicate them yourself for your own peace of mind.
So Dangerous!
Fixed wire cable that appeared to be coming from the lights was connected to an extension lead.
Wired incorrectly!
Always remove plug tops, you never know what you might find.
Touch it...I dare you!
See this far too often, cheap poorly made AC adapters.
Poor labelling!
Not much to say about this one. You will not see labelling like this from us.
Smashed plug!
This was still in use, this is why PAT testing is important.
Smashed socket!
Not quite sure how sockets end up in this state but again...see this far too often.
